Spyker C8 Aileron LM85 Is the End Of A Curious Era
The car is rooted in the original C8 which appeared almost two decades ago. However, the latest iteration does look like it can compete in the strange niche segment of rare cars. The Spyker C8 Aileron LM85, like all of its predecessors, has a number of interesting advantages compared with other cars.
Plastic? Only the seat belt buckles and, possibly, the Audi-sourced second key.
Aluminum? All over the car – inside and out!
Leather? The whole of the cabin is wrapped in the material – even the footwells and space behind the seats.
Airplane-inspired design? Well, Spyker is best known for its airplane-inspired touches. The dash, the gauges, logo, and switches – they are all made of aluminum and could probably find their place in an airplane without any modifications.
